Farm Camp at Little Farm School

I am so grateful that we have Mary at Farm Camp and The Little Farm School in our lives! I feel that I can absolutely trust my child is in a safe, healthy, loving and respectful environment there. I really love the emphasis on nature and outdoor time, seasons and cycles of the year, plants and animals and living growing things. This is so very healthy for her body and mind, and it brings endless fascination and delight for all of the kids! I think that Mary has an amazing gift for understanding and connecting with each of the children in her care, and for treating each one with endless respect and love and meeting each child’s individual needs in terms of social and emotional development. I love knowing that they do chores and work as part of their daily routines, helping to prepare healthy meals and clean up after activities as well as enjoying imaginative fun and play, music, crafts and lots of outdoor time. I really can't imagine a better environment for my girl to be growing and learning. And our family has felt incredibly welcomed by the warm community here. I think if you came to Farm Camp you would have fun! We do a lot of activities like: milking goats, catching chickens, going into the garden to get food for our snacks. I think everyone would have fun if they came to Farm Camp! You will even make new friends! Ms. Mary is a fun, kind, loving person. Farm Camp at Dragonfly Meadow Farm is a highlight of our family's summer each year! Having been campers for the past 5 years, our four children begin counting down to the next summer's session as soon as they leave the last day of the current session. Ms. Mary's patience, grace, love of children, and love of farming are part of the magic of Farm Camp! The children come up worn out, messy, and full of smiles and stories every day! They have been able to experience tending to the chickens and collecting fresh eggs, milking goats and making treats from the goat's milk, felting, dandelion painting, fresh snacks from the garden, sun made tea, magic carpet swing rides, animated story telling, making new and lasting friendships, and so many more more one-of-kind experiences at Dragonfly Meadow's Farm Camp! I can not recommend Farm Camp enough!!! Our family is so grateful to Ms. Mary for providing those experiences for our children! Farm Camp is fun! I love the baby chickens! They are so adorable!!! The rock wall is fun to walk on and finding the fairy houses! I love to find chicken eggs and milking goats!
